A Gambler's PSU

Everybody loves to put a little money on their favorite team and Vegas has some insight as to how teams are doing. This is probably because of the millions of dollars which depend on Vegas assessing teams. So, what do the boys in the desert think about our beloved Lions?

Odds to win the National Title:
PSU 40-1 (Not actually that bad)
ND 5-1 (Apparently Brady Quinn's sack tastes good even in Vegas)
Tosu 7-1 (I'm still amazed, why is Tosu supposed to be any good?)

Big Games:

PSU + 10.5 vs. ND
You pretty much get 3 for being on the road but that is a line I would take, but than again, I would take the money on this game. Because PSU's Defense should be quite stingey when it comes to points I wouldn't be surprised if the final score of this game was something like 20-16. So, if you like to gamble on PSU football I would take this action.

PSU +2 vs. Michigan
This is a big insult. Vegas thinks the wolverines are going to come into Happy Valley and leave with a victory. Mich. is on the road for this game and they are still favored. Again, this is a game where I would take the money line and since Vegas is stupid enough to offer you points you might as well take it.

PSU +2 vs. Purdue
Wow, I haven't seen anyone else predicting that Purdue will be better than the Lions this year. PSU doesn't have a bye week this year but since the game immediately before the Purdue game is agains Illinois it might as well be. This line is ludicrous and I would recommend betting plunking some cash down on it.

PSU +1.5 vs. Wisconsin
The more I read the more surprised I am. Wisconsin won't be a bad team this year but it is possible for them to falter during the transition period after the Alvarez administration. +1.5, I just don't see it. But their loss is your gain.

PSU -5.5 vs. Mich. St.
Finally, a little love for PSU. This isn't really surprising, the game is in Beaver Stadium and as the season progresses I bet the line will get bigger so you might as well take PSU to win with the spread now.

Those are all the lines that I could find, so crack open that wallet and bet on the Blue & White!

Don't like our inexpierence secondary going up against Quinn this early. I would actually give the points if I was betting.

granted samardizijialbot is a good WR but isn't he the only one? reports are that J-King is on D-will like glue in practice. I think that will be a matchup to watch during the ND game!
