Almost Halway Through...

Last week the Lions caged the Wildcats, Deon Butler really got going, and the Defense seems to be regaining last season's form. The clear problem for PSU remains in the red-zone. Turnovers, penalties, uncreative play calling, and no confidence in your kicking game does foster a high percentage in the red-zone. That being said, Kelly had a good day kicking the ball and hopefully whatever problems he was having with his back and his confidence/mechanics are behind him.

Anthony Morelli continues to mature and will have a big day against the Gophers, hopefully. If AMMO can continue to get Butler involved and Derrick Williams and the rest of the gang can break free PSU should have a good day.

Tony Hunt continues to be the rock upon which the Penn State offense is built. He will need to continue to have solid rushing days for Penn State to be successful.

The Defense continues to improve. Sean Lee is proving himself to be the next great Penn State Linebacker....while the current great Penn State LB is currently playing! Sean has a nose for the ball and is flying around the field to make plays. Penn State's Linebackers and the rest of the team will need to play another good game and contain Cupito (passing) and Pinnix (rushing) if they are going to win the game.

At some point during the game a Lion needs to destroy a Gopher with a ridiculous hit. It's not that I'm bored of seeing M-Rob crumple that safety but I'd like another video to post from youtube!

GO STATE! BEAT THE GOPHERS!
