Paterno's Condition Update

Paterno is being kept in the hospital until Wednesday as a precaution. All things considered, the surgery was a complete success. Paterno's rehab should take 6 weeks, although, he is so fired up to return to practice that he is not fully dedicated to rehab. See all this here.

The team is missing Paterno in practice:
"For the last three years that I've been up here, he's been up and down the field yelling at us," center A.Q. Shipley said Tuesday. "Not hearing the voice is different."

Fortunately, Bradely is in charge of the team this week and he is keeping things the same for the players. Hopefully the team can stay focused on the Owls and lock up a new years day bowl game with a win on Saturday. Paterno is trying to get back for the game on Saturday, I don't doubt that Paterno will be back. Apparently, I'm not alone!
"I wouldn't assume any other way," he said. "He's got a tough nature, a gritty attitude. He's a stubborn man." (Sayeth Shipley)
WE LOVE YOU JOE!

GO STATE! BEAT THE OWLS!
