Scandal

Stories have been swirling for weeks that Reggie Bush took money, houses, and other gifts while giving USC his, then amateur, talents. Now, however, there is confirmation of these rumors. Tapes have surfaced which seem to prove that Bush took money and gifts in violation of NCAA rules. Now, NCAA violations are always juicy gossip but this would be particularly juicy because these violations could date back to 2004 (USC's national title year) and later Reggie's Heisman. If NCAA sanctions are forthcoming this would be a major blow to a program which has been on auto pilot for the last few years.
