You Are Lions!

This is my humble request to all the leaders, official and otherwise, on the Penn State football team. The eyes of a locker room and hundreds of thousands of fans look to you for the leadership and guidance that must be provided to get the team through the season. This has been a low week for the team, but that ends now. This is our moment.

Every team needs leaders and the Lions need someone to step up both on and off the field. To not only get guys fired up to make a big play, but also to keep guys focused off the field. To unite a team against the world. To close the ranks and hold the line. To gain success without sacrificing honor.

Do not worry about tomorrow or the next week, or yearn for yesterday or years past, but instead keep your eyes on the prize, right here, right now. "We Are Penn State" is our battle cry and it must never be more true than it is this year. Let no man forget how menacing we are --- We are lions! But the strength of the team is not in the Lion, but in the Pride. This is the call!
