Last Gasp of Pre Season News

We are only a few short days away from the greatest time of the year, college football season. The kids are not only back on the field but also on campus and in class rooms. I, for one, could not be happier as we quickly wind down the worst time of the year. After this week, the speculation ends and we will have actual football to talk about. However, for another week we must content ourselves with speculation and conjecture.

The CDT has a quick review for those of you who haven't been paying attention for eight months. If you are a member of this shameful sect, this article will give you a quick review of the team and players to watch.

The Big Ten Football Practice will focus on the Nittany Lions on Monday @ 4.30 and 11.30.

The PTR has an article pretty much slamming Penn State's recruiting efforts this year. On this one, I have to stick with Joe and defend the recruits. Joe and the staff know what they are doing when it comes to recruiting. The fact that Scout.com and Rivals might not grade kids as 5-star players does not mean they aren't good football players.

To highlight how good players can go unnoticed the PPG has an article on Deon Butler (former walk-on) and how he will probably be setting a receiving records at Penn State this year as well as striving for a national title.

It has been a long and terrible off-season. Thank God it is over.

GO STATE! BEAT THE CHANTICLEERS!
