Hey, keep your heads up

That's what Joe said to the team after the Tosu game. More true words have never been spoken by man....or divinity. Those pearls of wisdom were laid down by the greatest coach of all time, Joseph Vincent Paterno, at tuesday's press conference. The Lion's need to stop licking there wounds, if they ever were, and focus on the Wildcats.

Need I remind you, oh blue and white clad worshipper of the Lion, that the NorthWestern game was quite a close game. Basanez is gone, but apparently he has been replaced with Kafka, not the surrealist author either, the QB. Kafka is no slouch, he completes nearly 60% of his passes and has rushed for nearly 300 yards. This is what Joe had to say:
This kid (Mike Kafka) is only a redshirt freshman and he is really a tough kid and a tough runner. He runs that option about as well as anybody we are going to play.
PSU also needs to fear Tyrrel Sutton who looked very slippery last year against Penn State. Sutton has rushed for nearly 350 yrds and averages 5.7 yards a carry. Joe said this:
He looked really good, #19 (Tyrell Sutton). He is really quick. I think they are getting closer and closer to where they were a year ago.
NW let New Hampshire score 34 points. NEW HAMPSHIRE! Not a good sign. All I ask is that the lions put up 40 or so, Morelli passes for 250 yds and no INTs.

Find Joe's Press Conference here. If there is a decent NW football blog I haven't found it yet. Penn State really came together against NW last year so it could happen again. So, go forth and root for the glory of old State!

GO STATE! BEAT THE WILDCATS!
