Press Conference Week 2

Joe, of course, did not elaborate on what his plan was for the ND game. Also, do they have chimps covering the team? They all ask the same question and seem to have no thirst for what is going on with the team. They could be replaced with bloggers and I don’t think there would be a let down (find out for yourself here). Anyway, there was more than just Joe talking about how great ND was, he did elaborate on the ongoing drama of Austin Scott:

Austin Scott is fine, I think. We have to come to a decision as to whether we are going to play him or not. Unless he is going to have an impact on this season, I don’t particularly want to play him. We haven’t made that decision yet. Jimmy Shaw should be OK.

That is kind of big news since Joe flatly said that A.S. would not be red-shirted this year.

We have been there. We have been involved in some games and I have been there. We are playing a really good football team and at home and they have a lot of tradition, pride and we have to go out and play.

Fortunately for you, I am not Joe. ND needs to get ready for the hurtin’ PSU is going to put on them!
