That was an amazing first half. OSU jumps all over LSU early with a 65 yd. run for a TD followed by a great drive for a field goal. After the first five minutes of the game, it was all LSU as they scored 24 unanswered points to take a 24-10 lead (and they will get the ball back to start the second half!)
The real difference in this game has been the play of the QBs. Compare:
Flynn (LSU): 11/15 for 118 yds and 2 TDs!
Boeckman (Tosu): 6/13 for 111 yds and 1 INT.
That being said, the Buckeyes are running the ball extremely well. The only thing that could stop them on the ground would be a vaguely disease ridden prostitute (on sale mind you!). Wells has over 100 Yds. in the first half.
If the Buckeyes, and thereby the Big Ten, are to regain standing in this game, and thereby in reality, they are going to have to lock down on defense and create some fucking turnovers!
LSU the path to victory is easy: run the rock, kill the clock. Captain "Les-ticles" will not be satisfied with that. He smells blood. He has his foot on the neck of the Buckeyes. HE DEMANDS SATISFACTION! And that will be his undoing!
LETS GO BIG TEN!
