PSU's Letter of Intent Day

We have made it through LOI day and the biggest story was TP's
decision to delay making his selection. This delay puts PSU right back
in the running to land the most coveted recruit in all the land!

Despite the hoopla surrounding TP PSU actually did sign some recruits
on Wednesday. This included a wealth of linebacking talent and a good
level of talent at the other skill positions. In spite of this, there
seems to be a feeling of disappointment amongst the
Blue-White-faithful.

I would explain this feeling stems from a perception that the Nits
haven't filled some critical needs in the defensive backfield, wide
receiver, and running back. Let's just be honest, losing Shaw to
Michigan so late in the game really hurt. This is not to say that the
Lions didnt land some very talented players, just not enough of them
in the right spots. For example, King has gone pro, Scirrotto is
pleading guilty and his future is uncertain, and transfers have taken
its toll on the DBs.

Would landing TP be a cure-all? No. But it would be boon to the
program on the field and it would increase PSU's reputation for being
able to land elite recruits.

Good work State! Get Fired Up for TP!
