Lions Find Their Happy Place

The Lions have found their happy place.  It is in the huddle.

Deon Butler told The Collegian that:

"When we're in clutch situations, the wideouts stand in front of the linemen, and [Ohrnberger's] pulling guys close to him, 'Hey, hey come here. Come in the huddle,' " Butler said. "It's just joking around but it keeps the huddle loose instead of being real panicky.

"Rich is smiling and laughing and A.Q. is laughing. It's a fine line, they're not too loose with it, but they keep a happy atmosphere in the huddle."

It sounds downright snuggly.  Perhaps AQ and Ohrnberger could carry our WRs around in front packs to keep them safe and warm during the rest of the week.  It is good to know that there is a lot of leadership on this team which keeps things cool and calm when they are on the road.  With and 8:30 kickoff at the 'shoe the lineman just may want to pack those front packs for the WRs.

Not only will the crowd be raucous but also the Ohio State Defensive backs are no joke.  They are a talented bunch who rank 15th in the nation in passing defense.  Derrick Williams had this to say about Malcom Jenkins (Ohio State DB):

"Just one of the best cornerbacks in college football right now,"

High praise.

This is going to be a great game!

COMMENCE SEQUENCE TO FIRE UP!

GO STATE! BEAT THE BUCKEYES!
