I shall break in for just a little bit of PSU Basketball this morning because the Lions played and beat a good Purdue team (14th in the nation) last night.
The Lions squeezed out a 67-64 victory over the Boilermakers. Penn State's guards lifted them to victory as Battle poured in 21 (including 9 dimes and 5 boards), Pringle 18, and Morrissey contributed 10 off the bench. This win puts the Lions at 13-3 overall and 2-1 in conference. Which means, this might just be a year to be excited about Penn State basketball!
Batten down the hatches in Beaver Canyon! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
GO STATE!

Your boys are for real. Purdue threw everything they had at the Lions in the second half and PSU wound up withstanding it and holding on. While that can be unnerving for fans, it's great for the character of a basketball team.
Enjoy it. We'll see one another again, kohai. ;-)
PSU men's bball might be for real but let's relax for a minute. We've lost 3 winnable game so far and last night beat a Purdue team minus 2 of their best players.
i would approach this team with cautious optimism. purdue was without some of their better players, and we almost blew it.
still, off to a good start. a few more wins, and we can bring out our dancing shoes (knock on wood).
