Justin King + Injury = Holy Crap!

CNNSI is reporting that not only did Justing King have a hernia last season but also that he had surgery to have it repaired three weeks ago! According to WebMd a hernia is:
Any time an internal body part pushes into an area where it doesn't belong, it's called a hernia.
YEEEEE-IKES!

PSU needs King to be ready to go in order to replenish a secondary which was depleted by graduation in the spring. After my initial shock wore off i realized that he had been playing with the hernia last season and only got surgery when the pain became excruciating! If King was hurt last season imagine him at 100%!

King said he's ready for preseason practice, which officially starts next month. He was held out of a team charity weightlifting event on Friday as a precaution.

"I'll be fine," said King, looking cool in a Yankees hat and blue shorts and T-shirt while teammates dripped with sweat from lifting weights inside the school's hot, sticky indoor practice facility. "Everything is going good."

The surgery is why King was held out of the Lift For Life but apparently he'll be ready to go when summer workouts start next month. (WHEW!!!)

GO STATE!!! (recover from various maladies and don't get hurt!)
