Another Look At Syracuse

I previously broke down Syracuse a few months ago. If you are interested, you can find it here. Since then kind of a lot has changed. Syracuse looks just as shitty as advertised having gone 0-2 against the mighty competition of Northwestern and Akron. Yes. The Orangemen are terrible.

What have we learned about PSU? The Lions have a potent offense led by a Heisman worthy RB, Evan Royster, and a stable of experienced WRs. This game is potentially disastrous for the Orange. I previously said PSU would win 35-17. I am now going to go ahead and revise this prediction to say that PSU wins 73-10. Yeah. 60+ points.

This will be a great opportunity to introduce young players to a "road" game and rack up another win before the start of conference play.

FIRED UP!

GO STATE! BEAT THE ORANGE!

besides victory, i don't know what to expect here. psu has a history of playing conservative on the road, even against lesser opponants (see Temple, 2007).

will we "open it up" on the road? or are we saving our road game for wisky, purdue, and OShitU?

I think a conservative, run-based offense puts up 60+ against the Orangemen. I think Royster has the potential to run for 250 yards and 4 TDs.
