D-Will Dominates, PSU Goes To 5-0

More detailed reactions to come later.

It is clear, however, that D-Will dominated like never before. Unless you don't consider the following a dominating performance:
33 yds rushing and 1 TD.
75 yds receiving and 1 TD.
133 yds returning and, oh yeah, one for 94 yds and a TD.
So, yeah, you could say that D-Will had a good game.

Good win. Lets start thinking about the Badgers Boilermakers!!

Initial Thoughts on the OrSU game....

I wanted to get some thoughts out right away. Don't worry, there will be a more detailed breakdown on Monday.

I'll get this off my chest, EVAN ROYSTER FOR HEISMAN!
Evan Royster has yet to play a full game, however, he has rushed for 205 yards on only 25 carries for 6 TDs! This means Royster is averaging 8.2 yds/carry and 24% of his carries are for Touch Downs! Royster looks like an absolute beast!

Clark looks great at QB. He has yet to commit a turnover in two games, he is completing nearly 68% of his passes and has shown that he run like a keg of Lager barreling down a flight of stairs. He will be PSU's starter for the rest of the year. Best of all, he looks calm in the pocket. Wow.

The Defense seemed to respond well.

2-0, baby! I am fired up!

Sports Cafe To Be Linebacker U

The CDT is reporting, in the on-going acquisition and transformation of the Sports Cafe, that Lavar Arrington is listed on a pending liquor license transfer for the abandoned watering hole.

In more interesting news, the CDT goes on to say that, according to Borough Zoning Officer Herman Slaybaugh:
“I know it’s going to be called Linebacker U,”
This, of course, is fucking awesome.
Hopefully everything will be ready for an opening before, or on, the opening of the 2008 season. If it is ready by this fall it will instantly become a must see for all returning alumni and visiting fans. I know I have suggested it before, but Lavar, if you're listening, the following drinks HAVE TO BE AVAILABLE!
The QB Killa:

A terribly strong brew of 11 types of liquor which could render Troy
Aikman unable to remember his own name.

The Line Leaper:
A jaeger, voldka, and tobasco shot dropped into a Red Bull, guaranteed
to propel you over a hapless Illini offensive line!

Lavar, you have to make this happen buddy. Get in touch with me and I would gladly be the first to quaff such a brew. Even if you don't give me a call I may just show up demanding that they make me these drinks and then loudly proclaim what they are!

Any other drink suggestions are definitely welcome here and, should he contact me, I will pass the entire list along to Mr. Arrington!

PSU Juniors Love Football More Than Seniors?

I posted the other day about the lazy, layabout senior who would rather strum his guitar than take ten seconds to get himself football tickets. Well, Junior tickets went on sale yesterday and while it took the seniors at PSU 8 hours to consume the tickets the Juniors did so in 90 fucking seconds.

Greg Myford explains why the Juniors would rather scramble for their chance to be a part of the greatest student body in college football history instead of strumming their guitar and mumbling their idiotic poetry:

Myford said the "urgency" of the 2006 sale could explain this year's rapid sale.

"Prior to [the 2005] season, there was not the same urgency," Myford said. "The junior class was really the first class that experienced that avid demand and kind of that ticket sale frenzy mentality. There's a new normal to the urgency with which students go about buying their tickets, and that's something the current senior class didn't experience."

The Seniors, well, they only experienced huge demand for three years. That first year of apathy is back and better than ever.

This is what I'm talking about, Juniors!

Blue/White Stuff: User Submission!

I recently received a submission of an awesome, homemade, PSU, Pinewood Derby racer! I am completely and totally envious of this mini-monster. I think the picture speaks for itself:

Also, Greg, class of '91, (you're the man, by the way!) attached the following line in his email:
My wife rolled her eyes at me a lot about all the time I was spending in the basement "building your little car", but my son and his friends thought it was cool, so that's good enough for me. Being a Big Ten (i.e. non-SEC) car, it wasn't very fast, but it does have PSU style and class!
The motto? Things that are cool when you're a ten year old boy remain cool for the rest of your days. Also, wives don't always get "it". Finally, I would gladly ride wherever Joe wanted to take me! HELL YES!

I love this thing. Joe at the wheel and the Lion as co-pilot?!??!? Completely awesome. Thanks Greg!
